operating in the areas quoted above. It does not make grants
to individuals, animal charities, cold calling national charities
or local branches of national charities. If you do not meet
their lending criteria they ask that you do not submit an
application nor pursue an existing application.
The trust does not have a formal application, requesting that
applicants apply in writing (ideally the letter should be no more
than two pages) and accompanied with a copy of your latest
available accounts. Additional information can be submitted
to assist your application but the trust does not return any
paperwork sent to them.
Applications are acknowledged and you will be told whether your
group will be considered for inclusion into the agenda for their
next meeting of the trustees. They meet twice a year
(April/May & November) and applications need to be
submitted by 28 February and 30 September to meet the trusts
deadlines for these meetings.
