Established in 1996 the Neighbourhood Project provides a variety of services to the local community including welfare and drugs advice, a neighbourhood college and community involvement work. The project acts as the managing agent for the resource centre .

The Centre houses a 150sq meter meeting, seminar and conferences space catering for up to 100 people and 3 advice rooms all available for hire. Catering is provided from the Doorstep Cafe. Activities in the hall currently include; Tai Chi, Arts and Crafts, Indoor Bowls, Bingo, Line Dancing, Creative Writing, Carpentry and a Gardening Club in the adjacent Community Garden.
The Centre has purpose built office facilities currently housing the following tenants; National Autistic Society, Alzheimer's Society, New Horizons, Springbank Healing Centre, District Nurses, Protocol Skills,
The purpose built Centre has offers activities for children young people and families supplied by the following providers; Youth Service, Hesters Way Children's Centre and the Springbank Cubs
The Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 6pm and provides a wide range of nurse led services to anyone living or working in Hesters Way. The Centre offers disabled access to all treatment rooms. If you have any questions, phone 01242 234306. A fully inclusive day-care nursery for children from birth to school age. The nursery has two large playrooms which provide a bright happy airy atmosphere, a safe enclosed garden with play equipment to provide a healthy balance for outdoor fun and offers a dedicated sleep room enabling children to rest when necessary so that they can feel happy and at ease throughout the day. Puddles are registered to provide nursery education funding for 3 and 4 year olds and we accept all employers childcare voucher schemes. Call Caz or Dan on 01242 574511 for more information.
